    At the end of 2018 we invited organisations and groups across B&NES to apply for our newly established ' Community Pot' fund. Bath Carers Centre was one of five applicants to receive funding. They used the money to support carers in tackling issues they face, as well as using their 'lived experience' to help commissioners develop service provision. Read more.

    The Carers Voice project brought carers together each month to identify and address issues they faced in health and social care, and be proactive in finding and co-producing positive solutions to overcome these difficulties. Find out more.

    In 2019 the Commissioning Support Unit carried out a review of special care dentistry in the South West and asked local Healthwatch to help carry out a survey of patients using this service in each local area. Find out more about the work we did.

    We have been unable to undertake Enter and View visits to care homes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Executive Board decided that we should undertake a virtual visit to a care home to hear residents lived experience of the pandemic.
