The new Rainbow Resource is here
Rainbow Resource has been a popular and well-used resource for young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities and their families for several years.
Following consultation with parent carers and other stakeholders, a decision was made to redesign the site to make it even better.
So, what’s new?
- Everything is now in one place – all SEND Local Offer information can be found on Rainbow Resource, rather than being split between the Council website and Rainbow Resource
- A home page video to help new visitors get the best out of their journey around the site
- Information is now provided in age categories (0 – 5 years, 5 – 11 years ) – something that was important to parent carers we consulted
- Updated design and improved navigation to help customers find the information they need quickly and easily
- Parents and young people can now apply online for their Rainbow Resource scheme card online in a matter of minutes; no more filling in and posting paper forms!
