People's experiences of using local urgent care services
This report captures feedback from focus groups that Healthwatch undertook during Spring 2017 regarding urgent care services.
The findings of this report have been shared with commissioners as part of the process to re-procure urgent care services in B&NES
WHAT WE DID:
Met with commissioners to discuss urgent care services and identify any gaps in local knowledge.
We focused on speaking to people living with chronic conditions and their carers.
We approached a number of community groups and organisations to see if we could visit to talk about local urgent care services.
During these sessions, we spoke to 39 individuals, including people living with a range of conditions, carers and relatives.
