What impact has COVID-19 had on those living with Cancer?

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the way cancer patients attend appointments with their cancer teams. The SWAG Cancer Alliance Patient Representatives want to understand what it is like from a patient's perspective.

Pre COVID-19, most consultations took place in the hospital. Now many patients are consulted over the phone or a video call. While some prefer to talk to their cancer team from home others miss visiting their teams in person.

The SW Cancer Alliance has created a questionnaire asking for patient's feedback about these experiences.

The information that patients give, will be anonymous and only used by the NHS. The questionnaire will take no longer 5 minutes to complete.

It is hoped that the survey will help SW Alliance better understand how greater use of remote consultations has impacted on people living with cancer.

If you or someone you know has been affected by the impact of COVID-19 on their cancer appointments, please complete or share the survey. 

Note - SW Alliance is seeking views from patients living in Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon, and Gloucestershire.
