Notice: Closure of a community pharmacy in Bath & North East Somerset

NHS England and Improvement have given notice that Jhoots Pharmacy in Bath will be closing on 31 July 2020. Find out more.

Jhoots Pharmacy based at 28 Brock Street, Bath, BA1 2LN has given notice that the pharmacy will be closing. It will continue to serve it's customers up to and including Friday 31 July 2020.

NHS England & Improvement is working with them to make sure they are following the right procedures in time for when it closes. They will also be working with all those affected by this to review and monitor the impact of the closure.

How do I get a fit note?

From 1 July 2022, nurses, occupational therapists, pharmacists and physiotherapists can legally certify and issue a statement of fitness for work, or informally known as a ‘fit note’. Find out what a ‘fit note’ is, when you might need one and how to go about getting one. Previously only GPs or hospital doctors could issue fit notes.
